The movie lightheartedly makes fun of the idea of baptism by having him get baptized in a beautiful cathedral-like church in a plastic, inflatable, baby swimming pool while wearing swimming trunks or boxers. Unlike the character in this movie, we shouldn't just join a church to please family or take baptism lightly.

In this movie, the character that Jennifer Lopez plays is not living a Christian life but is still getting married by a clergyman. Are we just supposed to go to church for weddings, funerals, baptisms, Easter and Christmas or is Christianity supposed to affect our everyday lives too?
