Ugandan Prayer Warriors Featured Live at The National Alpha Conference

Pastor Jackson Senyonga is the founder and senior pastor of Christian Life Church in Kampala, Uganda. The church experienced exponential growth from 7 people at its inception in 1995 to 2,000 in two weeks. Today, over 22,000 people attend Christian Life Church each week, and 40,000 are registered as members and that number continues to grow on a daily basis.

Eighteen months ago pastor Jackson was introduced to Alpha USA Executive Director Gerard Long.  Pastor Jackson shared with Gerard how revival had come in Uganda on the back of desperate prayers of the Christians who prayed God would spare the country from the atrocities of Edi Amin.

As the Lord stirred Gerard's heart, he asked Pastor Jackson if those Ugandan prayer warriors would pray that God’s blessing on Alpha USA.

The result of that request is that now we are blessed by 1,000 Ugandan people who pray for Alpha for one hour a day - sharing their spiritual wealth with all of us involved with Alpha in the USA.
