National Alpha Conference October 14 and 15 with Pre-Conference October 13

Excitement is rising as the date for the Alpha Confernce draws closer. Plan to bring your team to the conference. Register now and take advantage of the Early Bird special. Plan to attend the conference and pre-conference. The pre-conference will provide additional training and information for those currently running the course. You must be registered for the conference in order to attend the Pre-conference. October 14 and 15 (pre conference event October 13) at Irving Bible Church

Joint Leader Training

The next DFW Regional Joint Leader Training will be August 27 at Trinity United Methodist Church. Alpha encourages all Alpha churches to provide training prior to each course or at a minimum of once a year regardless if your team has attended training in the past. Selecting and training table leadership is one of the most important keys to a successul Alpha course. Attending training with experienced practitioners can provide invaluable encouragement and support to those just starting Alpha, but also offer important reminders for experienced table leaders. Although the training is geared for Table leaders, all team members are encouraged to attend. Click here to register.

Alpha Reunion Friday June 24

You're invited attend an Alpha Reunion Dinner at Trinity United Methodist Church, Alpha DFW's Lighthouse Church!

Get together with former Alpha graduates for dinner, songs, a joke, and an update on the future vision for the Alpha ministry in the DFW Region and her stories of changed lives. Silent Auction (Restaurant, manicure, pedicure, gift certificates, etc.)

Volunteers Needed

Information will be sent out soom requesting volunteers to serve during the Alpha Confernce. The registration of volunteers will occur online, providing volunteers with the opportunity to select times of availability as will as to receive emails confirming their reigstration and other key information. Alpha Advisor, Angel Thompson, is responsibile for Volunteers and Jaye Barnett is coordinating the scheduling.

Looking to take Alpha to Another Level?

Start an Alpha Course at another church who needs your help
Start Alpha in an already established ministry contact, ie apartment ministry
Offer the Marriage Course
Attend the National Conference to receive Parenting Course Training (The Marriage and Parenting Courses can be excellent side door ministries to acquaint non-members with your church and then invite them to an Alpha Course at the conclusion of the course

Register your Course

Please remember to go on the Alpha USA website and register your course if you have not done so. We want others to know where and when courses are being offered in the region. If you are no longer doing the course please contact peggylively@alphausa.org or your Alpha Advisor to have your church removed from the website. it can be easily added again if you decide to resume offering Alpha. If you plan to offer one course during the year, please indicate when the next course will be offered.

The Marriage Course also needs to be registered.
