Alpha USA Partnerships

Alpha USA is blessed to have partnerships with outstanding Christian organizations. Like us, these organizations have a deep desire to tell the good news of Jesus Christ to people outside the church. They each use their particular gifts and unique positioning to serve Christians and non-Christians, in the hope of advancing God's kingdom.

The objective of these partnerships is to create a win-win situation between Alpha USA and each organization. We tap into each others' strengths, resources, expertise and connections in order to further our work and glorify God.

Alpha USA is proud to work with these organizations:

Breakpoint
Catalyst
Christian Life Ministries
Compassion International

Global Media Outreach (GMO)
Joyce Meyers Ministries
Kairos International
Luis Palau
Mission America
Walden Media

BreakPoint utilizes many avenues to help believers understand and live out God’s truth. The Centurions Program is an intense distance-learning venture that prepares Christians to live out their faith authentically and powerfully in the world and unites them in a continuing network as agents of transformation. Through use of broadcast media such as BreakPoint Radio and The Point, print, Web commentaries and internet, BreakPoint promotes a Christian perspective on news and society, and challenges believers to engage the culture with the transformational message of Jesus Christ. Christian Life Ministries is an outreach ministry of Christian Life Church in Kampala, Uganda. It challenges and equips God’s people to fulfill their destiny and become catalysts through prayer to transform and impact their churches, cities, and nations. Founding Pastor Jackson Senyonga saw God's grace at work in his church when the number of attendees skyrocketed from seven to 2,000 in just two weeks. Today, over 22,000 people attend Christian Life Church each week. They have planted over 1,000 churches in four African countries.

Christian Life Ministries continually blesses Alpha USA with prayer. Every day 1,000 Ugandan prayer warriors spend one hour praying for the ministry of Alpha in the United States. We are in direct contact with our prayer warriors and are encouraged by their support.

Compassion

Compassion International was founded in the 1950s as a response to the many orphans created by the Korean War. Compassion is a Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty, enabling them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults. In 2007, 150,000 Compassion-sponsored children made commitments to Christ.

Alpha USA and Compassion are working ways to match children with Alpha guests who want to become sponsors. We're also creating opportunities to introduce the Alpha course to Compassion's affiliate churches.

Global Media OutreachGlobal Media Outreach (GMO) is using the Internet and emerging technologies to bring people to Jesus Christ. It is the organization’s mission, and the heart of what it does every day, with a long-term goal of presenting the Gospel to 1 billion people worldwide. Whenever people look for information, they look to the Internet. GMO is using this tool to bring the mission field to the doorsteps of anyone with access to the World Wide Web. With over 100 different Web sites, thousands of people each day indicate decisions for Christ through GMO. Then, through e-mail, the conversation and study of Christ continues using additional information accessible through GMO’s discipleship websites. Whether someone has decided to become a follower of Christ, rededicated their life to Christ or still has questions, GMO can provide prayer, guidance and discipleship through online ministry response centers. GMO also offers online Bible studies, Web sites with next steps for the journey and links to local church communities.

Alpha is working with GMO to put seekers in contact with local churches that are offering the Alpha course.

Walden Media specializes in entertainment for the whole family. Past award-winning films include: The Chronicles of Narnia series, and Charlotte’s Web.

Alpha USA helped Walden Media to distribute its latest film, Amazing Grace, to local churches throughout the United States. We believe that this gripping film, which portrays William Wilberforce’s twenty-year struggle to abolish British slave trade, will stir the viewers' interest in the Christian faith. The Alpha course is uniquely positioned to answer difficult questions that people have concerning Christianity.
