Getting Involved with Alpha

Inquirers wanting to learn more: We encourage you and a couple of leaders from your church to attend a Taste of Alpha luncheon, request an information packet be sent to you, or contact Thomas Graham about speaking to a group at your church. Beginners wanting to get started: We encourage you to attend a one-day Getting Started conference, held locally, or a two-day Mobilize conference, held in different parts of the country. Another great way to get started is to have a team of your leaders attend an Alpha at a nearby church (you'll have your own small group) so that you can experience Alpha first-hand before launching it at your own church. Alpha practitioners wanting to connect with others: We encourage to you connect with other Alpha leaders by attending Alpha Leaders' Gatherings, to share best practices and find encouragement, and Alpha Prayer Gatherings in your area, to pray for your area and develop relationships across denominational lines.

Working together, we can coordinate joint weekends away, share worship leaders, share testimonies at each others' Alpha Sundays, etc. Check here for details on upcoming gatherings. Contact Thomas if you are interested in joining us for the Regional Alpha Weekend Away in October 2012.

Alpha practitioners wanting to invite their whole community to dinner: The Alpha Invitation is a united effort of local Alpha courses designed to pool resources to pray, plan, publicize and promote area Alpha courses so that more people from outside the church will find their way onto a local Alpha course.

Alpha alumni, supporters, enthusiasts wanting to pay it forward: Alpha is growing at a rapid pace in the U.S. and we need your financial support. You can make a one-time gift or become a recurring donor online here. Simply select North Carolina (Eastern North Carolina) in the drop down box.

Another new way of supporting our regional Alpha development is through Team Alpha. Anyone can sign up to participate in a sponsored race or can donate to this effort by selecting an Eastern NC Team Alpha event here.
