July 14, 2011 SPECIAL REQUEST* Pray for my family & Alpha
Hi everyone, sorry I haven't written in a while but there's been a lot of things happening. I have a couple of prayerful requests. This is an honest raw blog but I think its important to share.
As you know the economy has taken a toll on people's jobs, and even on the non-profit world such as Alpha. Prayerfully consider giving to the Florida South-Central region just follow the information below and please tell others about it or if you know churches or foundations to donate to our region.
Also pray for me and my family because I was laid off my full time job, my wife lost her part-time and Alpha has reduced my work hours to just 10 per week due to the financial crisis. This has been very hard for our family yet we know our joy is always from the Lord nto from anywhere or anyone else. I know God will bless Alpha as he has always done since its a fantastic tool, and its a good time for all to re-evaluate where we are and what God has in store.
On another note, since we've grown almost 3X since I took over the region many Alpha many churches will be doing Alpha in the Fall and USF will be doing a large campaign on their campus. I have a training for Alpha and am still meeting with churches but need to focus on fundraising.
