To End All Wars
I have used; the crucifixion scene from the film, 'To end all wars'. This is the true story of the miracle on the river Kwai, about the Christian major who gives his life for his fellow countryman, (Robert Carlyle), even though he has been betrayed by him. It is not a very gory clip, but it is a very moving and poignant clip, particularly as it happened within the lifetime of many people still alive and in a western context.

Brad Paisley - Video CD
This video CD is approximately 3 minutes long. It includes crucifixion scenes (violent) as well as clips showing Jesus and His mother as she remembers Him. Ends with the Resurrected Christ inside the tomb.

Les Miserables (meaning of grace)
Opening scene where Liam Nisam is taken into the church by the priest. After a meal and a bed, Liam hits the priest and steals the silver. Arrested by the police, teh priest assures the police that the silver was not stolen but given and he extends to Nisam the grace of God, forgiveness to make him a "new man" in Christ.

A jail inmate has the power to take other people's pain away and put it on himself. For example, he takes one lady's cancer away and gets cancer himself. This is comparable to the way Jesus took our sin upon himself |
Prince Brat and the Whipping Boy
In this movie, there is a young prince. Rather than the prince being punished when he does wrong, the prince's whipping boy is punished whenever the prince does wrong. This is similar to how Jesus endured our punishment |
Simon Birch
A boy is riding in a school bus with many younger children. The school bus drives into a lake and starts filling with water. The boy helps the children swim one by one to land so they don't die, but in the process he makes himself very sick and eventually dies. He gave his life to save the children in a way that is similar to how Jesus gave his life to save us |
