We’ve learned so much recently about running Alphas that in the midst of our changing culture are becoming more effective in bringing people into a life-giving relationship with Jesus Christ—and we want to pass that on to you and your Alpha Team.

Run Alpha 2019 is “spring training” for everyone that has run—is currently running—or is thinking about running Alpha. EVERYONE attends spring training—rookies AND long-term veterans.  We want every regrouping, existing or just starting Alpha team in Northern Ohio to attend a training so that every Alpha grows in effectiveness.  When MORE churches run MORE Alphas MORE effectively MORE people come to know Jesus Christ.

Every training is ecumenical with all traditions and denominations welcomed and celebrated as we grow in our unity as God's people.

•  How to continually grow in the Best Practices for running Alpha
• The Importance of building a good team
• GROWING your Alpha to reach more people with the gospel
• Hands on labs and Q&A for effective Alpha Small Groups and the Alpha Weekend/Day-Away
• Effective use of all the Alpha Digital tools and resources


WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Join other leaders and churches from across the region for an interactive training that will equip you and your team to develop an understanding of  what makes Alpha so successful, how to run it,  and how to get the most out of it in your context. We'll cover topics like 'What is Alpha?', Seven Best Practices of Alpha, Alpha Small Groups and Leading Prayer Ministry.  Plus, you and your team will have a chance to "experience" an actual Alpha session over dinner.

For those who want to  stick around we're offering a Bonus Session from noon to 2:30 on Saturday.  This hands-on training session will focus on group facilitation and listening skills.  There's no extra cost for those who are registered, and lunch is included. 

Dates and Times:  Friday, May 17, 5:30--8:30 pm;  Saturday, May 18, 8:30--12:00 noon
