The Alpha Series are the videos you’ll watch each week as part of your Alpha. Designed to guide the conversation, these episodes explore big questions about life, faith, and meaning and are made to be watched together. You don’t need to prepare any teaching content because the videos do the heavy lifting for you. All series have a discussion guide or suggested questions making it easy to host meaningful conversations around tables.
The Alpha Film Series is designed for today’s audience. It was filmed all around the world, and features interviews with world-famous leaders and inspiring stories. Toby Flint and Gemma Hunt join Nicky Gumbel to unpack the basics of the Christian faith in an updated and engaging way. Ps. Andrew is a Malaysian-born Chinese from Kuching, Sarawak who is currently a missionary to Dresden, Germany for Europe Campus Ministry (ECM), reaching out to Chinese students. He and his wife Amy have two children, Abiel and Alissa.
Li Guang established the Best Blessing Foundation in 2019 with her husband, a non-profit organization in the United States dedicated to sharing the gospel through arts and culture. With extensive experience shooting and producing commercials, short stories, documentaries, and more, her recent work “Home of Mephibosheth” received a total of nine International Film Awards.
With a Ph.D. in Physics, Professor Beverly has served as Professor and Director of the Institute of Physics and Medical Engineering at the National Yang Ming University in Taiwan, and as a Professor of Physics at Boston University. She has been engaged in medical signal processing and MRI research for many years. After retirement, she worked with campus fellowships to send out missionaries to Europe.
Professor Paul is a nature-lover who became a theist. He graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, obtained his Ph.D. from the University of California, and was a post-doctoral fellow at Caltech. His research interests include animal physiology, toxicology of heavy metal pollution, and the Cambrian explosion. Professor Paul has published many research papers and written many popular science translation series.

Alpha Scripts are downloadable scripts that provide you the template to deliver the talks live in person, rather than using the videos.
Alpha Youth Elements is a comprehensive resource featuring 13 customizable talk scripts and an extensive collection of small videos including engaging couch conversations, dynamic vox pops, animations, and supplementary elements from the Alpha Youth Series (2017). This resource is designed to allow you to personalize the content, enhancing the experience for students and helping them discover and develop a relationship with Jesus.
Nicky and Sila Lee, the authors and creators of The Marriage Courses, were also leaders at Holy Trinity Brompton in London, where these courses have flourished alongside of Alpha. Marriage Courses have been run in over 117 countries for over 1.5 million couples since they began in 1996. Some guests come on the course to strengthen their marriage and then go on to try Alpha, while others decide to take The Marriage Course after attending Alpha.
Sometimes jumping into a conversation about Jesus is too big for potential guests, so we created a three-week experience designed for self-exploration around identity, purpose, and belonging. Engage with thought-provoking topics at your own pace or in a group.

Nicky Gumbel is the pioneer of Alpha and the former Vicar of Holy Trinity Brompton in London, which he led with his wife Pippa. Together, they introduced The Bible with Nicky and Pippa Gumbel commentary in 2009 as a daily email for their congregation. Since then, it has become a successful app, book, podcast, and website with a global following.
